Wireless Access

St. Francis College provides wireless Internet access in the SFC Library for students and faculty who have laptops. Students can also check out a Netbook at the Circulation Desk.
In order to connect to the wireless network, your laptop has to have a wireless card. You should use the network name of SFCWIRELESS and agree to the SFC wireless network protocol by clicking on "GO" at the bottom of the page.
If you're unable to connect to the Internet, follow the steps below:
1. Check the bottom toolbar to see if you're connected to SFCWIRELESS network.

The RED X next to the SINGLE computer screen indicates that you are not connected.
2.
Right-click on the single computer screen and choose SFC WIRELESS from the available wireless networks.
Highlight SFCWIRELESS and click on CONNECT at the bottom of the page. You are now connected!
3. To access the Internet, use the browser of your choice (IE or Firefox). You will get the
SFC Portal System page.
Click on GO at the bottom of the page.
