Sexual Assault Awareness Banner

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a campaign to raise awareness and educate communities about sexual assault.

This issue is especially important for college campuses around the country as these statistics from RAINN make clear. Sexual violence is pervasive on college campuses and college-age students in particular face a higher risk.

It's On Us

It's On Us is a social movement to raise awareness and fight against sexual assault on college campuses for both men and women. They have a range of support resources, educational materials and campus organizing programs.

RAINN operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE). Their website has a range of resources including support services, educational materials, public policy information and more.

Research, reports and initiatives from the World Health Organization focused on raising awareness and tackling sexual violence around the world.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Sexual Violence
Statistics, research and prevention programs from the CDC to help understand the problem of sexual violence and prevent it before it begins.

Human Rights Campaign: Sexual Assault and the LGBTQ Community
