Library Display (March): OER

Open Education Resources

March 1-5 is Open Education Week. Open Education Resources (OER) are any materials for teaching, learning or research that are openly licensed and freely accessible. The open nature of these materials means that anyone can use, copy, adapt and re-share them. You can learn more about Open Education with our introductory OER Library Guide.

The online repositories listed in this display have hundreds of openly licensed and freely accessible textbooks in their collections. Check them out to see what Open materials are available in your subject area. Or browse some examples of Open Textbooks below.

If you need helping finding or adopting Open Education Resources, please contact a librarian.
